Outdoor Ethics Advocates,
Thanks very much to all of you for your efforts to promote outdoor ethics in the Scouting program. Conducting Trainer courses, presenting at Roundtables, University of Scouting workshops and IOLS sessions, speaking with district and council leaders, and running resident and day camp programs all make a difference for the Scouts and Scouters and the places we work to protect. Whether you personally work on some or all of these tasks or you coordinate a team in your role as a Council Outdoor Ethics Advocate, please know that we sincerely appreciate the time and resources you commit throughout the year.
Chair, BSA Outdoor Ethics Task Force
Thank You for taking the time to provide this data for the BSA outdoor ethics program in your local council.
BSA uses the information that you provide to help assess progress on Leave No Trace across the country, to report Scouting's progress in Leave No Trace education to the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics and to assess where the National Council should provide more support to its local councils.
Please feel free to contact Eric Hiser, BSA Outdoor Ethics task force reporting coordinator, at ehiser.BSA@gmail.com if you have any questions.
